I’ve been making restaurants for the past five years, and I think of this as more other choreography, and sometimes people understand this and sometimes they don’t.

I’m bringing almost all my practices to the AUNTS Festival, thanks to an invitation from Jess Pretty. I’m designing the posters, consulting on an artists lounge and performing some new work on Tuesday June 17th, at 7:30pm. I’ll post some flyers and some pictures of the lounge soon - it’ll be like a tiny buffet at your Aunt Cheryl’s house, like not Easter but something smaller, a more other restaurant. The new work is strange still and it pulls a little bit from this extremely unhinged thing I made Kirsten Schnittker do with me once, also at Danspace, but for a movement research festival in 2018. The posters turned out better than I thought, and they might be a jumping off point for the next zine series.
